I am getting pretty tired of education debates where everybody seems more interested in defending their side’s favorite system than talking about the kid actually sitting in the classroom. Democrats usually start with spending more money. Republicans usually start with expanding school choice. And our buddy Ken basically wants to blow the whole system up, privatize it, and trust the free market to sort out what comes next. I think all of them are starting in the wrong place.
